Good Hotel COVID-19 Health and Safety guidelines and practices

In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, Good Hotel has been busy adapting its operations to ensure that all our guests can enjoy a safe and relaxing stay by prioritizing: revised high standards of cleanliness throughout the properties, high levels of awareness across our teams, giving guests access to sanitation products for peace of mind, and maintaining practical social distancing measures in our shared spaces. Guests are encouraged to take note of new signage around our hotels to support safety, and to ask the Good team if they require any additional assistance. The health and well-being of our guests is our first priority, and we are doing all we can to implement protocol to take this responsibility seriously.

We are delighted to report that both Good Hotel London and Good Hotel Antigua are now re-opened following temporary closures. However, please note that Good Hotel London’s full food and drink offering will not re-start until further notice. For further details, please contact a member of the London team.

We are very much looking forward to welcoming guests back to our Good Hotels. Please regularly check back on our website, get in touch with the hotel directly, or follow us on social media for the latest updates and opening dates/times.

When you are able to visit us again, you can do this feeling assured that we have all the precautions in place to minimize the spread of COVID-19 and keep you and your loved ones safe. This is a team effort - guests are also politely asked to take self-protective measures and adhere to the COVID-19 relevant ‘house-rules’ to minimize any exposure to the virus. We’re in this together.

Please now see below for the key measures that have been implemented to ensure exceptional care and safety for you, your family, friends and colleagues throughout your stay.

Latest News - London (update 7/06/2021)

Earlier this year, the U.K. government published the ‘COVID-19 Response - Spring 2021’, setting out the roadmap out of the current lockdown for England. This included 4 key stages.

THE U.K. is currently in Stage three which includes the below restrictions:

  • Hotels, hostels and B&Bs can reopen fully with COVID-19 safety measures in place
  • People can meet in groups of up to 30 outdoors
  • Six people or two households can meet indoors
  • Domestic overnight stays allowed with people not in your household or bubble
  • Pubs, restaurants and other hospitality venues can seat customers indoors
  • Up to 30 people can attend weddings or other life events, like christenings
  • Remaining outdoor entertainment, such as outdoor theatres and cinemas can open
  • Indoor entertainment such as museums, theatres, cinemas and children's play areas can open
  • Performances and large events can restart, but with limits on audience numbers
  • International leisure travel may resume
  • Adult indoor group sports and exercise classes can restart

Stage four (no earlier than 21 June):

  • It's hoped all legal limits on social contact will be removed
  • No legal limits on the number of people who can attend weddings, funerals and other life events
  • Nightclubs will be allowed to reopen

What are the four tests for easing restrictions?

  • The coronavirus vaccine programme continues to go to plan
  • Vaccines are sufficiently reducing the number of people dying or needing hospital treatment
  • Infection rates do not risk a surge in hospital admissions
  • New coronavirus variants do not fundamentally change the risk of lifting restrictions

Read the government's roadmap.

  • In addition to these guidelines, Good Hotel London rooftop bar and terrace will re-open to guests and to the general public from Friday 30th April and will remain open every weekend (Friday, Saturday and Sunday) 2pm - 9pm throughout Spring and Summer. Please note, openings are subject to weather conditions. To avoid disappointment, contact the hotel ahead of your visit: [email protected]

  • Please contact the hotel should you have a booking and wish to cancel or postpone if you do not fall under one of the above recommendations: h[email protected]
